My name is Zach Harr and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I have always lived my life at a fast pace, whether it is in the gym or at work. I am a crane operator so my workdays can be very long and I rarely work the same hours from day to day. Planning any kind of set schedule can pose a problem from time to time, but without dedication what’s the use of planning your workout anyways right?
As a kid I was always involved in sports I played baseball as a child, I played ice hockey (yes…even though I grew up in San Diego we actually have a few rinks) and I also always played football. Football was always my favorite, I am a very physical person so the more contact the sport has the more I enjoyed playing it. The only 2 sports I did in high school were wrestling and football. I actually would have ended up with a scholarship to play football had I not broke my femur the summer right before my senior year as a football stud. Now, when I’m not at work I like to fill the rest of my day with some kind of action such as boxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu or just hitting the weights. I generally try to punish the iron 5-6 times a week depending on my workday. If I cant make it in 1 day during the week I will try to tail the week with a Saturday session. I never like to workout on a Sunday in a gym. On Sunday I like to spend my time somewhere outside at the beach playing volleyball or just something fun outside in general. I have also been surfing a lot more lately, it is something I can enjoy by myself and is an incredibly fun and complete workout. Living in San Diego I like to use the beach to my advantage in my active lifestyle.
I do use a steady amount of supplements, some of which include Vitapaks (GNC) whole oats, prostate formula, virility formula, an arginine 1000, and cholesterol-free fish oil. Other than those everyday sups I just try and eat clean and balance my nutrition in a way that I can still enjoy life and a way that works with my hectic schedule. All in all the life I have chosen to live is one that will always be making me stronger leaner and always having more energy each and every day.
